I recently took my first trip to the Bay area on a work related trip.
I found some time to do a bit of sight seeing.
I also had a nice steak dinner with Rick from The Golden Gods.

I saw Paul play last night at The Showbox.
It was quite the rocking show.
And to make it one better, his backing band are the House Band from Rockstar.
The show rocked and I saw a lot of familiar faces.
Being a good patron, I know to tip my bartender. I ususally start by tipping big the first round so I know I have their attention.
I was doing this to the closest bartender to where I was watching the show and it payed off.
While Paul was playing I went for a beer. My bartender held up 2 after show passes and asked if I'd be interested in them.
Hell yeah!!!!
Healey got her pic taken with Paul and I lert him know I'm with Gene's Addiction.
His eyes lit up when I said that. It was very cool.
I just found out there is a Paul Stanley Tribute like Gene's Addiction.
Check them out.

I've just returned from being gone for 4 weeks.
First week I was in SoCal. Which was good for me because I got to see some friends who I haven't seen in years.
I also wanted to meet LJ and Myspace friends but no one contacted me for a meet.
After that I went to Jerome Idaho. Small fucking poedunk town. At least it was close to Twin Falls so I could find things to do.
I was working in a Wal-Mart running fresh wire and putting in new cameras.
Here are a few pics from my Idaho trip.

Have you ever been to Jerome Idaho???
Not mush reason to go. There's nothing here.
Nothing fun that is.
I've been here for 2 weeks now. Installing cameras in a Wal-Mart.
That's right, Wal-Mart.
Probably the biggest thing here other than farm equipment repair.
Lots of cows here which generate a lot of flys.
Flys everywhere.
You can't walk through the store, or anywhere for that matter without having to swing at flys landing on you.
The first weekend here my co-worker (nicknamed The Pigpen)and myself went to some club called Kruzer's in Twin Falls.
It was okay and I played a lot of pool.
I found out later on in the week that there were some guys there that were quite annoyed with my mouth.
Which shows me that you shouldn't put a city guy in a small town bar and let him drink Scotch.
The Pigpen got picked up by a girl and taken home for the night, which caught me off guard.
I don't see him as stud material but it makes sense because she was fat.
Not just plump but FAT. But the big tits helped him to look past the belly....and thighs and arms..etc.
We're trying to finish the job and be home by this weekend.
That would be nice.
But until then I'll have to keep trudging forward.
And try to make the best of Jerome Idaho.

I'll be in the Orange County area and maybe San Diego for a few weeks with work.
I'd like to meet some of my LJ friends while I'm down there.
Throw me a message and maybe we can have a drink or two.

Blackie Lawless was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the accident.
Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Blackie-Lawless lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.
The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.
Witnesses have stated that Blackie-Lawless's car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.
Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence.
Memorial services for Blackie-Lawless have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.
